On June 20, 2022, semester wise meeting was held in 218 meeting room of medical building of USTC middle campus, every lab member presented his/her experimental work carried out during this semester. Every one discussed problem they met and gave some suggestions to improve the experimental work efficiently. Professor Sun Cheng focused on every one’s presentation carefully and appreciated positive results of every one. At the same time, Professor Sun Cheng also proposed his opinion to people who feel confused about his work so that they can design and plan work as soon as possible.

At the same time, We had a wonderful dinner to congradulate the new PhD Students.

At the end of the year 2021, annual meeting was held and every lab member presented overall summary of his/her work project along with planned work for upcoming year. Almost every lab member participated in session of an interactive discussion on hard work and return. Also, pointed out further areas that can be improved. Finally, we concluded that work of each lab member is going on as expected.

At night, we had a party and enjoy delicious food as the same time we design our plan for next year.

On October 20, 2021, Miss Rongrong Qing successfully defended her Master degree thesis held room # 218 located in medical building of USTC middle campus.

At the end of thesis presentation title “Influence of immunosuppressive drugs on NK cells in therapeutic drug exposure in liver transplantation”, all of the judges raised question one by one, which were responded by Miss Rongrong Qing satisfactorily.

Miss Rongrong Qing first introduced her project including recent advances in the specific area and exposed gaps in that area followed by the presentation of experimental designs of the study. Subsequently, Miss Rongrong Qing presented her results and elaborated novel findings in her study.

Finally, chairman of the committee announced the results of Miss Rongrong Qing defense evaluation. Respected chairman said, “on behalf of all of the members of evaluation committee and based on my own evaluation, we could like to congratulate Miss Rongrong Qing on per successful defense and qualifying for master degree award. After completion of evaluation, on the recommendation of Chairman of the committee, Miss Rongrong Qing thesis was sent to graduate college with appropriate modification.

“每逢佳节倍思亲”, a verse of Chinese, means “I miss my beloved ones more festival”, is strongly associated with “Mid-Autumn Festival”. Means Chinese will go back to home town on this occasion to have a get together with their family and beloved ones. Mid-Autumn Festival of 2021 was held to have a get together with hybrid family of our lab and had a dinner at Lei street of Hefei City. On this special day, our lab members held a party and enjoyed Sichuan cuisine there. During the party, everyone participated in interesting gams to create a pleasing and free environment. It created environment for everyone to come closer. so that everyone could talk as a big family. Party atmosphere was pretty cool and some international students sang their hometown song to bless everyone.

After the dinner, lab enjoyed beautiful night scenes of Hefei city.

The lab held Plenary meeting for the new academic year September 2, 2021. 

Prof. Nashan welcomed 10 new faces for joining lab. Whereafter, Teacher Wang introduced the Code of conduct, Along with that, Prof. Sun communicated with foreign new colleagues and answered their questions carefully.

Finally, the laboratory commended the excellent workers of the previous year.
